Montenegrin PM Visits Argentina

BUENOS AIRES – Argentine President Mauricio Macri on Monday welcomed Montenegro Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic for talks on bilateral relations, state news agency Telam said.

Previously, Djukanovic attended a congress of the Association of Montenegrin Communities in Latin America, held on Sunday.

Argentina has a substantial Montenegrin expat community.

On Tuesday, the prime minister is expected to speak at the Argentine Council for International Relations and will meet at the Montenegrin Embassy in Buenos Aires with his Montenegro’s honorary consuls of his country in Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Uruguay.

Before ending his visit on Wednesday, Djukanovic will attend the inauguration of a Buenos Aires square re-named in honor of the Balkan nation.
