BUENOS AIRES -- Consumer confidence in Argentina rose in May to 55.0 from 52.9 according to the
latest Di Tella Universityís survey.
This was the sixth consecutive monthly increase.
The sub-indices that measure survey respondentsí personal situation and propensity to purchase durable goods, increased 4.2% mom and 4.1% mom, respectively.
Likewise, the sub-index that measures the participantís perception of the macroeconomic situation increased 3.9% mom.
