Barcelona Competing with 18 Euro Cities to Host EMA’s Post-Brexit Relocation

BRUSSELS – Barcelona will compete with another 18 European cities, including Amsterdam, Dublin or Milan, in the bid to secure the relocation of the European Medicines Agency from the United Kingdom once Brexit is executed, according to the official candidacy list published on Tuesday by the Council of the European Union.

Barcelona is the Spanish city that has launched a bid to host one of the two EU agencies that will abandon UK territory once Brexit concludes.
