Mr. Vincentelli is an electric and computer engineer, graduated as Magna Cum Laude at the University of Michigan in 1973. He has a master's degree in power engineering, 1974. He took the advanced management program at Harvard in 1994.
From 1974 to 1975, he worked as the assistant of investigation at the Power Systems Laboratory at the University of Michigan.
In 1975 he entered Inelectra, where he has been responsible of the Project Management Department for the oil industry, as well as the petrochemical and basic industries.
He has worked as the Director of the Project Unit, Vice-president of Operations and Executive Vice-President of the Business Unit of Engineering and Construction. He has held the presidency of this company, and has also been the Director of several companies of the Inelectra group.
From 1975 to 1985 he shared his business activities along with educational activities, being a pre-graduate’s and post-graduate’s professor at the Universidad Simon Bolivar. He has been a member of the Presidential Commission for the Oil Investigation, as well as of the Consejo de Economía Nacional, Fondibieca, and the Sociedad Venezolana de Ingenieros Consultores, among others.
