Rodríguez, Dester

Internal Director of PDVSA

Colonel Rodríguez graduated from the Academia Militar de Venezuela, licensed in Sciences and Military Arts. Later he studied Systems Engineering at the Universidad Experimental de las Fuerzas Armadas.

In 1997, he was appointed Personnel Manager at the Escuela de Ingeniería Militar del Ejército (Military Engineering School of the Army). From 1998 to 1999, he was Manager of Army Personnel Control and Records, then, he takes the General Direction of the Oficina Ministerial de Informática, of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, along with the Presidency of the Fundación Bolivariana de Informática y Telemática, until the year 2001.

He has been a member of the Restructuring Committee of PDVSA since December 2002. In March 2004, he was ratified as the Internal Director of the corporation.
