Mechanical Engineer from the Universidad Simon Bolivar in 1983. He has a master's in Business Administration, with a specialization in Finance at the IESA, 1987.
He has a large experience at Tecnoconsult, where he has worked as Executive Vice-President, General Manager, and Finance Manager.
He belongs to the Colegio de Ingenieros de Venezuela, the Camara Venezolana de la Construccion and to the Comite de Inversiones de VenAmCham.
