Aeronautic Engineer, graduated at the Imperial College, University of London. He has a specialization on Fluids and Structure Mechanics from the same university.
He entered Schlumberger in 1989 as a Field Engineer for the Electric Registry Division in Brasil. There, he specialized in registry of wells with high inclination, deep water, and fishery production and services.
From 1994 to 1996, he was responsible for the operations of Wireline & Testing in Chile, Ecuador and Argentina. From 1996 to 1999, he took the Wireline & Testing Division in the former Sovietic Union.
In the year 2000, he worked in the development of new business for the non-petroleum division of Tarjetas Inteligentes Terminales (T&T). During January and May of 2001, he was in charge of T&T in Latin America.
In June of the same year, he was transferred to Venezuela to hold the Management of Petroleum Services for the Eastern Division of Venezuela.
