Nez, Nelson Alberto

External Director of PDVSA

Mr. Nunez has a degree on Industrial Relations.

He entered the oil industry in June 1978, at Quiriquire, Monagas state; in the Industrial Protection Department of Lagoven. Simultaneously, he has exercised a syndicate dispute for over 26 years.
In the year 2000, he coordinated the delegates that discussed the collective hiring in PDVSA.
As a concequence of this process, the Sindicato Nacional Unitario de Trabajadores Petroleros (Sinutrapetrol) was created; this was one of the three syndicates that signed the collective hiring on September 2002.

He was a candidate of the CTV-Monagas. In March 2003, he was named External Director of PDVSA.
