Internal Director of PDVSA
Licensed on Chemestry and Master's on Physics and Chemestry from the university Poltiers in France, 1973-1974. PhD on Chemestry from the University of Reading from the United Kingdom in 1978; and a Master's degree on Technology Managing from the Institute of Technology of Massachussets (MIT), Boston, 1993. He also has taken managing courses at the Michigan University, Harvard and SRI California.
He entered Intevep in 1980, a PDVSA's affiliate, where he acquired the experience on the development of catalityc support, and technology of procedures.
In 1987 he was the Catalysis Department Manager. From 1990 and during four years he took on the management of the Department of Process Development. In 1995, he was assigned leader of the Grupo Corporativo de Gestion Tecnologica, associated to PDVSA's Coordination of Strategic Planning Department. On that same year, he worked as Functional Planning Manager for PDVSA-Intervep.
He is the author of over 20 patents on international inventions.
He has been Internal Director of PDVSA since July 2003.
