Yépez Gil, Gustavo Adolfo

Vice-President of ZENECA Venezuela S.A., Agrochemicals and Public Health Divisons, located in Maracay, Aragua State, since June 1997.

Born in Valencia, he received his Agronomy Engineer degree in 1982 from Universidad Central de Venezuela and his Magister Scientarium degree in Entomology in 1985 from the UCV.

He was an Entomology Researcher at the FONAIAP, and worked as a professor at the Instituto Universitario Tecnologico in Yaracuy. He joined Zeneca Venezuela (former ICI Venezolana S.A.) in 1989 as a Technical Representative. Then he was appointed Technical Manager in 1991.

He has been President of the Sociedad Venezolana de Entomologia, Sociedad Venezolana de Ingenieros Agronomos and Entomological Society of America.

He speaks Spanish and English.

Gustavo and his wife, Betsabeth, have two children, Gustavo Eduardo and Melanie.
