Velutini, Luis Emilio

A graduate in Business and Public Administration from the University of New York with specialization in Finance and Statistics, and a Stockbroker.

20 years of experience in the real estate market has made Luis a pioneer in financial innovations in : trusts, capital markets, and conversions of foreign debt into investments with multinational as Posadas de Mexico and Grupo Aguasal.

Founder and President of Velutini y Asociados, a real estate financial consultant, participated in the restructuring of real estate investments portfolios of approximately US $ 200MM for corporate and financial institutions clients.

Founder in 1992 of Fondo de Valores Inmobiliarios S.A.C.A., his managerial and leadership abilities prompted the promotion of a joint venture with IRSA-SOROS and domestic real estate developers.

The Fondo moves on in the globalization entering the local capital markets (Bolsa de Valores de Caracas) as well as international through OTC level 1 ADR's. Its paid-in capital went from US $ 14MM to over US $ 200MM in a year. Over 60% of its shares are placed with foreign investors. FVI has been among the three companies with higher daily stock movement averaging over US $ 700M / day.

In 2001, Luis sponsored and coordinated the sale of Banco Caracas, one of the healthiest and traditional financial institutes in Venezuela.
