Tudela Reverter, Rafael

Congressman for more than 25 years with positions held as member of the Committe of Foreign Politics, Energy and Mining, Finance, and Tourism.

President of the World Wildlife Fund (Fudena), Venezuela Chapter, the National Committee for Oil Defense, member of the Presidential Commission for Nationalization of the Oil Industry and National Council of Energy, Ambassador for diplomatic missions, entrusted by the Presidential office.

Counselor and member of the Board of Advisors of the National Council of Private Organizations, including Fedecamaras, and member of public interest groups, such as the National Economic Council.

Founder and Principal Shareholder of a national and international conglomerate of companies, field include oil production and marketing, hotels, insurance, finance, glass, automotive, shipping, engineering, real estate, construction, etc. President and Majority Shareholder of Hotel Tamanaco Intercontinental and Seguros Pan American C.A.

Dr. Tudela holds many local and international government decorations as well as private awards. He is Senior Deputy President of the World Chess Federation (FIDE), and President of the Chess of the Americas.

Ex-founding professor and head of the Universidad Central de Venezuela. He holds engineering degrees from the University of Houston and UCV, in arts, sciences, administration and management degrees from the University of Houston, Northeastern and UCV.
