Schuler, Arturo J.

Alternate Director of CVBC

Partner and Vice-President of Ray & Berndtson C.A., subsidiary of Ray & Berndtson, a well known global executive search and management consulting firm with international offices in North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and the Pacific Rim.

Prior to joining the executive search practice, Mr. Schuler served for six years at Midland Bnak as Director of International Trade and Deputy Group Representative for Colombia, Venezuela and the Netherlands Antilles. His fourteen years of banking experience was initiated at Citibank in the World Corporate Banking Group.

Mr. Schuler holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the California State Polytechnic University (1971) and a Master's Degree in Personnel Management from the Central Michigan University (1978).

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Venezuelan-British Chamber of Commerce and of the Foreign Bank Representatives Association of Venezuela. He is also a member of the Altamira Tennis Club and the Playa Grande Yatching Club.

He and his wife Maria Isabel Rivas, have three children: Arturo, Allan and Alexander.
