Lawton, John F.B.

Senior Partner of John Lawton & Asociados (Organization and Human Resources) consultants in executive search.

Born in Buenos Aires; educated in Argentina, England and the USA (Sandhurst Military College and Cornell's Industrial and Labor Relations School).

He joined Shell de Venezuela in 1946 and during 27 years had varied experience and specialist training in the UK, Holland and the United States in all aspects of personnel administration; giving greater attention latterly to training and organizational development. He spent three years based in El Salvador, travelling in Central America as Personnel Management Consultant to eight Shell companies. On retiring from Shell de Venezuela in 1974, he held the position of Regional Training Manager.

He is a Venezuelan citizen and is member of the Caracas Sports Club, of ANRI-Asociacion Nacional de Relaciones Industriales and President of the Institute of Cultural Affairs, I.C.A. Venezuela.
