Eiris, Moritz J.

Ex-President of the Camara Venezolano-Britanica de Comercio.

Partner of the law firm Eiris & Asociados, Venezuela.

Attorney at Law. He graduated with a Degree in Economics (B.Sc.) from the University of London; a Law Degree ( J.D.) and a Master in Business Administration (MBA, Cum Laude) from the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello. He also pursued Post-Graduate courses in International Finance and Economy Theory.

He is fluent in Spanish, English and French.

Presently, he practices in the fields of foreign investment, industrial development, capital markets, exhange control regulations, mining activities and banking law.

Vice-President of C.A. Seagram de Venezuela and Director of its related companies Licorerias Unidas S.A., C.A. Distribuidora Chumaceiro, Mrtell de Venezuela, Grey's Licores, and Dinca Publicidad.

He is also an advisor to the Interamerican Institute of Capital markets (IICM), and Ex-President of the Venezuelan British Chamber of Commerce.

He has been decorated with the "Orden del Libertador" - Venezuela's highes decoration), the Order "Francisco de Miranda", the Order "Diego de Losada"- with the rank of Knight Commander - the Cross of Merit of the Venezuelan Armed Forces by the Venezuelan Government; with the Officer's Cross of the Order of Civil Merit by the Kingdom of Spain and with the Order of Rio Branco with the rank of Knight Commander by the Government of Brazil.

married to the former Cecilia Ceballos Alvarez de Lugo, has one daughter Gabriela Cecilia.

He is a member of the Caracas Country Club, the Club Hipico de Caracas, adn the Club Camuri Grande. He and his wife are active in equestrian activities competing regularly in show-jumping events.
