D'Elia Nestá, Vicenzo

General Manger of SmithKline Beecham Venezuela C.A.

Born in July 1952 in Italy. Naturalized Venezulan in 1974.

Graduated as Public Accountat at Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in 1976 with MBA in Management from University of Dallas in 1983.

After spending several years in different management positions in the Auditing and Finance Area with Espiñeira Sheldon y Asociados, Summa Sistemas, and FGMA; he joined Smith Kline & French as Finance Director at end 1983. Became General Manager in 1986. After the merger with Beecham in 1989 assumed total responsibility for the combined pharmaceutical business. In 1993 was transferred to Mexico for three years as Pharmaceutical Division Director. In 1996 returns to Venezuela to assume the General Manager position of all consolidated business. President of CAVEME (Camara Venezolana de Medicamentos), Member of the Economic Committee of VenAmCham for the Pharmaceutical Industry.
