Antonetti Nez, Miguel

Miguel Antonetti joined Korn/Ferry International as a Partner/Vice President in August 1997. In April 1999 was promoted to Associate Managing Director of the firm in Venezuela.

Antonetti has more than thirty years of experience in the area of Human Resources, mostly within the petroleum industry and service companies in the United States and Latin America. His last position was International Vice President of Human Resources in GTE Corporation based in Standford Connecticut.

Previously, he worked for a period of three and a half years as Executive Vice-President of Human Resources and Organization in CANTV, the privatized Venezuelan telcom company. He was also five years in Lagoven, the largest affiliate of PDVSA (the Venezuelan Oil Company), first as Assistant General Manager of the Western Division and later as General manager of Human Resources. For a period of six years he was engaged with the Kavanayen Consortium, in the construction fo the final stage of the Raul Leoni dam in Guri; six years in General Motors and eleven years in Creole Petroleum Corporation (Exxon).

Antonetti received his undergraduate degree in law from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, and realized postgraduate studies in Labor law. Additionally, he has taken different courses in Executive Management and Human Resources at Penn State University of Michigan. Antonetti was born in Caracas.
