Rodríguez González, Fernando

Vice President of CTT Corporation.

Born in Caracas in 1967, he earned a bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in systems engineering from Universidad Metropolitana Caracas, Venezuela, and a master’s degree in Finance from Universidad Metropolitana; he also graduated as a specialist in organizational development from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela.

Prior to his current position as Vice President of CTT Corporation, Mr. Rodriguez has acted as General Manager of CTT Venezuela; one of the six branch offices of such corporation – the most important education company in Latin America. Prior to this position, Mr. Rodriguez worked as Chief Technology Officer at Cygnus Integradores de Sistemas, one of the most prominent and recognized local system integrators in Venezuela.

During his career, he has accumulated a very strong background in information technology, internetworking, telecommunications, project management, change management, adult education, performance improvement and consulting; these skills have allowed him to assist major corporations in Latin America in the implementation of many projects and solutions that use information technology to increase the overall productivity of these organizations. In recent years, his main area of focus has been the implementation of performance improvement projects via training and education inventions; the scope of these projects have covered areas such as: analyzing and understanding customer education needs, developing assessment and gap analysis methodologies, creating customized processes and learning maps, conducting skills assessments, implementation of knowledge management processes and delivering advanced educational services that bridge the gap between current and needed competencies of workers, technicians and managers. Since 1995 he holds the highest degree of certification in the telecommunications and networking industry, the Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE).

He is a member of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) and the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).

Mr. Rodriguez is married to Silvia Elena Saldivia Anderson and has two daughters, Valentina and Daniela.
