Managing Partner of Krygier & Asociados, which are business and management consultants, representing several international consulting firms.
Born in Havana, Cuba, in April 1934, Dr. Krygier has been a Venezuelan citizen since 1961. He graduated from the Universidad La Habana, as a Doctor of Law and certified public accountant; later receiving his degree in public accounting from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. He also attended the masters program of the Graduate School of Economics at New York University and the Graduate School of Business Administration at Tulane University.
He is the former Managing Partner and CEO of the audit and consulting firm Krygier, Montilla & Asociados. The KMA firm was part of the Deloitte, Touche, Tohmatsu International from 1990 through 1997, of which Dr. Krygier was Director and International Partner, and was part of the Andersen Worldwide Organization from 1959 until 1988.
He was a member and Chancellor of the Americas of the International Academy of Management; he is currently a member of the International Academy of Arts and Science, President of the World Management Council (1992-1996), President of the Pan-American Committee of the World Management Council (1992-1996). Presently, he is the Director and Co-Founder of the World Future Society in Venezuela.
Dr. Krygier currently teaches advanced management program and postgraduate program at the Universidad Metropolitana. He has taught management and administration at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, the IESA, Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, and Tulane University.
He is an active participant in several educational, social and civil organizations and has been decorated on several occasions by the Venezuelan Government.
Mr. Krygier and his wife María have three children, Francis, Aron and Tamara.
