Economist graduated from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in 1990, with a master in Corporate Administration from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administración IESA in 2000, and a master in Economics from Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1996. He has likewise conducted studies at the Escuela de Organización Industrial de Madrid in 1992, and at Goizueta Business School at the University of Emory, Atlanta 1999.
During his postgraduate studies, he obtained a mention thanks to the publication of his thesis paper related to benchmarking and competitive intelligence from Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1996, and the Starmedia Prize to the best thesis paper related to e-commerce and information technologies from IESA in the year 2000.
He has been a professor at Universidad Metropolitana for more than six years, giving lectures on Industrial Organization and on Analysis of Markets and Competitive Intelligence. He has also tutored several graduate theses related to the areas of e-business, marketing and economics.
