At the helm of CTT Corp., Mr. Gomez has been developing an intense and important effort geared towards promoting in individuals, companies and organizations the assimilation of information technologies as a fundamental resource for the generation of value, competitiveness, and growth in a global environment.
His background in economic sciences is supplemented with postgraduate studies in management, information technology, and education in several institutions in Latin America and the U.S. His continuous research in the field of education and application of information technologies has enabled him to participate as a speaker at important national and international forums and publish articles and essays in diverse communication media.
Mr. Gomez has ample experience in the field of managerial consultancy, through his vast experience in companies such as Arthur Young (currently Ernst & Young), Arthur Andersen (currently Accenture), and companies in the industry related to information technology and telecommunications, having generated more than sixteen companies in several countries in the Latin American region.
Mr. Gomez took up the Presidency of CTT Corporation and subsidiaries operating in Venezuela, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, the US and Bolivia, covering with his services the South American region. He is a member of the ASTD, the Worldwide Education Advisory Council of Cisco Systems, the Venezuelan-American Chamber, ISPI, Unicit Institute and other important syndicates and associations dedicated to corporate development, education and technology.
