Viacom seeks Hispanic Manager for Public Affairs & Corporate Responsibility
Title: Manager, Public Affairs & Corporate Responsibility Req ID: 5684

Description: Report into V.P. of Public Affairs in the brainstorming, development and execution of pro-social strategy for Viacom Media Networks, The Americas

Fundraising Strategy
-Goal-setting, development and implementation of strategy across media platforms, performance measurement, and reporting
-Identification of opportunities for cross-pollination across different brand/channels pro-social initiatives

Strategic Partnerships
-Identify, create and maintain Strategic Partnerships with Non-Profits, International Organizations, and Government sectors.
-Work closely with Ad Sales department to identify opportunities for existing and new clients, and bring additional revenues from non-traditional ad sales pockets

Integrated Marketing
-Develop initiatives across media platforms: exploratory meetings, creative brainstorms, present creative solutions, negotiate contracts.
-Produce fundraising events: secure venue, sponsors, talent, media partners, marketing assets, internal and external promotional campaigns, reports

Production Management.
-Maintain production timeline and coordinate with internal departments (creative, production, programming, digital media, press, finance, legal)
-Produce Partner Final Reports for each campaign

Communications
-Draft and edit Public Affairs department speeches, presentations, and literature
-Draft Public Affairs department press releases
-Oversee Public Affairs blogs, websites, and social media assets
-Represent department with the media, and at external and internal events to present pro-social initiatives to a number of different audiences, including senior management

SKILL REQUIREMENTS
-Experience working with corporate, civil society, multi- and bi-lateral agencies demonstrating a Track record in fund-raising
-Experience in all aspects of initiating and implementing 360 marketing campaigns
-Experience & knowledge of the US Hispanic and Latin America sectors
-Fluent in English and Spanish, both oral and written communications skills
-Strong interpersonal & communication skills
-Vision & strong belief in the Pro-social initiative and mission
-A self-starter, problem solver, works independently
-Time management, dealing with multiple campaigns, focused on quality
-Bachelorís Degree Preferred
