Please note that as Campus Saint Jean is the Francophone faculty of the of the University of Alberta, applicants must be fluent in spoken and written French.

Le Campus Saint-Jean de l'Universite de l'Alberta sollicite des candidatures pour un poste de professeur(e) adjoint(e) menant a la permanence dans le domaine de l'economie avec une expertise en economie des ressources naturelles, de l'energie et de l'environnement. La personne retenue devra enseigner des cours de premier cycle dans les domaines de l'economie et de l'administration des affaires et devra egalement etablir et maintenir un programme de recherche independant dans son domaine d'expertise. Les candidat(e)s doivent posseder un diplome de doctorat, un dossier solide de recherche et de publications et, de preference, de l'experience dans l'enseignement au niveau du 1er cycle. Les candidat(e)s doivent egalement posseder une excellente maitrise de la langue francaise et une bonne maitrise de l'anglais.

Les personnes qualifiees doivent soumettre une lettre de presentation, un curriculum vitae, des exemples de publications, et les noms de trois repondants.

Le concours se termine le 15 fevrier 2013. La date d'entree en fonction est le 1er juillet 2013.

Position in Economics with expertise in Natural Resources, Energy and Environment

Campus Saint Jean of the University of Alberta invites applications for a tenure-track position in Economics with expertise in Natural Resources, Energy and Environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in the fields of economics and business administration and will also establish and maintain an independent research program in her/his area of expertise. Applicants must have a doctoral degree, a strong record of research and publications, and preferably experience in teaching at the undergraduate level. The candidates must also have an excellent mastery of French and a good mastery of English.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Applications should include a cover letter, a complete resume, samples of publications, and the names of three referees. The competition ends February 15, 2013 with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2013.
