LONDON - Prince Harry, grandson of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, and his girlfriend were seen buying a Christmas tree in London, British press reported on Wednesday.
The prince and US actress Meghan Markle paid £65 ($82.2) for the 1.8-meter height tree.
The pair bought the tree on Monday from a store in Battersea Park on the banks of the River Thames.
According to employees at the store, the prince and Markle were seen hand in hand and Harry carried the tree on his shoulder.
"They knew exactly which tree they wanted - it wasn't exactly a long process. They were really friendly, really nice," Zaqia Crawford, a store assistant, told the BBC.
The relationship between the pair was recently confirmed by the prince's official residence Kensington Palace, when Harry issued a statement expressing concern over press harassment of his girlfriend.
