UNIMET: 35 years at the top
There is no doubt that Universidad Metropolitana is enjoying its golden age, now that it is celebrating 35 years of commitment with Venezuela

and especially with thousands of students who daily enjoy its wonderful campus, and are the main ingredients of the university’s success.
Many others, who have graduated from this great institution, are working, most of them for important national or international companies.
This year, the UNIMET organized an intense program to commemorate its birthday, organizing diverse events that lasted a whole week, including talks, expositions and conferences that exalted the educational and artistic side of this institution. There was also the exquisite anniversary dinner that culminated with a gold brooch this wonderful, super special week.
The Plaza del Rectorado was beautifully decorated that gorgeous Friday. Hundreds of candles on each table suggested a relaxed, sweet atmosphere. Doctor José Ignacio Moreno León, rector of may UNIMET, was greeted by the numerous invitees from diverse educational institutions in the country.
The founder of the university, Eugenio Mendoza Goiticoa was also present, as well as recognized past students and representatives from important enterprises which support this labor.
An interesting video, telling the story of the university and exalting decisive moments, was played before the delicious buffet began. Laureano Márquez, who also shared this happy moment, gave the amusing touch.
Congratulations to this wonderful university family, which is growing and expanding more over time, offering students new career options and ways of becoming successful individuals!
