Goodbye dear Ambassador Athanassios
Goodbye parties for good friends are never easy, and it is even more difficult than usual saying goodbye to the charismatic Greek Ambassador to Venezuela Athanassios Valassidis,

who is leaving the country on Saturday to start his new diplomatic post in Pakistan.
Valassidis is a brilliant diplomat who arrived to Venezuela three and half years ago when the country was living one of the most difficult times in recent history.
Tano as he is call by his friends earned the appreciation of his colleges with his charming manners, but also he earned their respect by his eloquent diplomatic participations.
Farewell dinners parties were given by: the French ambassador Pier-Jean Vandornd and his lovely wife Martine, also the Egypt ambassador Essam Awad and his wife and other one by Sheelagh de Osuna ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago and finally German ambassador Hermann Erath House.
We all hope Mr. Valassidis has a wonderful journey and a successful post in his new destiny!
