SAO PAULO – The “unique and hybrid mathematics” of Reinaldo Lourenco was the starting point of his collection inspired by the 1960s, 1970s and 1990s and with which he opened the third day of the 46th edition of Sao Paulo Fashion Week on Tuesday.
With the collection “Road of Love,” the designer provided a true journey through time, with “the girl on the motorcycle” as his inspiring muse.
The styles of the models did not lack references to the typical elements of travelers, such as the leather pieces and the traditional helmets and jackets of motorcyclists accustomed to the road.
At first, the models wore bold ensembles made of leather in a varied palette of colors, ranging from bright white to blood red, passing through real blue, fuchsia and prints.
The modern, almost futuristic touch of the first sets soon gave way to long, colorful and full of movement dresses, showing the inspiration of the 1960s and 1970s and the hippie philosophy of that time.
