Irving Leads Celtics to 15th Straight Win (VIDEO)

ATLANTA – Kyrie Irving scored 30 points as the Boston Celtics’ registered a 15th straight win on Saturday night by defeating the Hawks 110-99 at the Philips Arena in Atlanta.

The Celtics (15-2) improved its away record to 8-1 for the season.

Boston leads the NBA, and has now matched the best start in franchise history in the first 17 games.

The winning streak is the team’s fifth-longest, four behind the 2008-2009 team that set the franchise record.

Jaylen Brown scored 27 points, his best so far, while Marcus Morris and Jayson Tatum scored 14 points.

The Hawks (3-13), an Eastern Conference-worst, were led by Dennis Schroder, with 23 points and nine assists, while Kent Bazemore scored 19 points and John Collins added 18.
