MADRID – Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa said that Chelsea coach Mourinho may return to Real Madrid, but noted that the Portuguese coach is happy in London as he doesn’t suffer persecution such as he faced in Spain.
In an interview with Spanish sports program “El Chiringuito de Jugones,” Arbeloa said that he thought Mourinho may return to Madrid but he did not have any idea about the timing of his return.
Regarding the player’s relationship with Iker Casillas, which deteriorated under Mourinho’s leadership, Arbeloa said that the matter was in the past.
Arbeloa also commented on the problems between Casillas and the coach, saying that there was no longer any bad blood between Casillas and Mourinho and that the matters were resolved simply with the passage of time.
Arbeloa expressed that he is convinced Real Madrid will win the league, pointing out that he had instilled confidence in his teammates after La Liga Clasico against Barcelona, despite the defeat.
