Yemeni Senior Intelligence Official Assassinated in Aden

SANA’A – A senior Yemeni intelligence official was shot dead on Friday by a group of gunmen in Aden, security officials told EFE on Friday.

The sources said that Colonel Adham Al Gaari, intelligence chief of the Fourth Military Zone, headquartered in Aden, died on the spot.

The attack, which so far has not been claimed by any group, was carried out in a popular neighborhood near the city airport, located in the district of Meksar Khour.

This murder comes four days after a general of the Yemeni army and an official from the secret services were also shot dead in this port city, which is suffering from turmoil and shootings targeting both military and civilian officials.
