Juanes, Sofia Vergara Appear on “Sesame Street”

MIAMI – The Oct. 4 broadcast of “Sesame Street” will feature Colombia’s Juanes and Sofia Vergara in a special episode celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

International music icon Juanes joins characters Elmo and Rosita in singing “Muevete” to teach kids the Spanish words “manos” (hands), “cabeza” (head) and “pies” (feet).

While the actress from the Emmy-winning television comedy “Modern Family” teams up with Elmo to teach the word “baile” (dance).

Vergara and Juanes also dance to the strains of Latin music to encourage kids to get up and move.

The special episode, called “The Latinization of Marco,” centers on host Gina acquainting her adopted Guatemalan-born son with his roots. EFE
