CARACAS -- Venezuela's stock market was essentially flat over the last two weeks, as the market took a break for the Easter holidays and continued its dull action afterwards.
Volume was low, save for a large cross trade in shares of Banco Nacional de Crédito of 1.68 million shares. Without this trade, volume would have not topped 30,000 shares any day of the last two weeks.
The Caracas Stock Index barely changed at 70,795.
The Venezuela Stock Market Index is now up 8.35% for the year to date.
