WASHINGTON – Bradley Beal top-scored with 32 points on Friday to help the Washington Wizards beat the Milwaukee Bucks 113-106.
Beal, who led a group of five Washington players to score in double digits, helped the Wizards register their second straight victory, taking them to the third place in the Southeast Division standings with an 18-25 record.
Jeff Green and Trevor Ariza scored 20 points each to put the Wizards just 1.5 games behind the Charlotte Hornets, the second-placed team in the division.
The Bucks (29-12), lost for the third time in last 10 games, but maintained their top spot in the Central Division.
Khris Middleton was the top-scorer for Milwaukee with 25 points.
Eric Bledsoe had 18 points, eight rebounds and nine assists for the Bucks, while Malcolm Brogdon contributed 15 points and eight assists.
