MEMPHIS – Marc Gasol led the Memphis Grizzlies to a 96-86 win against the San Antonio Spurs at FedEx Forum on Wednesday.
Gasol played for 37 minutes, going 9-of-16 from the field and 5-of-7 from the free throw line. He also handed three assists.
The Grizzlies (19-22), second to last in the Southwest Division, picked up their third win in the last 10 games.
Mike Conley contributed 15 points and reserve JaMychal Green another 12 for the Memphis team.
Bryn Forbes and Marco Belinelli, with 14 points each, were the highest scorers for the Spurs (24-18), ranked second in the Southwest Division.
LaMarcus Aldridge and Patty Mills added 13 points each while Pau Gasol, Marc’s brother, scored seven in 20 minutes of play.
