MIAMI Ė Peru registered a convincing 3-0 win against Chile in a friendly match in Miami on Friday night.
An own goal by Chilean central defender Enzo Roco and some great play by Peruvian midfielder Andre Carrillo and Pedro Aquinoís second half double sealed Peruís convincing win.
Despite the absence of stars Paolo Guerrero and Jefferson Farfan, Peru dominated the game after a cautious first period.
The stalemate was broken after Rocoís own goal in the 64th minute, before Aquino doubled the Peruviansí advantage 10 minutes later.
The midfielder added his second and his teamís third in the 86th minute to seal Peruís victory.
