MOSCOW – Colombian singer Maluma paid a visit on Tuesday to the Mexican national soccer team during their first practice in Moscow ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
Maluma, known for the hit “Felices los Cuatro,” exchanged greetings with players after the session at FC Strogino stadium in Moscow.
Though El Tri’s World Cup base is at the Dinamo Moscow training facility outside the capital, the squad deployed to Strogino to meet a new FIFA requirement for participating teams to open some practices to the public.
Most of the nearly 300 fans in the stands were Mexican.
After the training, Maluma kicked the ball around with a number of Mexican players and attempted to score a goal against keeper Jose de Jesus Corona before posing for pictures with fellow Colombian Juan Carlos Osorio, the Mexico’s team coach.
