Russia's Putin Congratulates Venezuela's Maduro on his Re-Election
Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory telegram to Nicholas Maduro Moros on the occasion of his re-election as President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.


MOSCOW -- Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory telegram to Nicholas Maduro Moros on the occasion of his re-election as President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Kremlin reports.

"In the congratulation Putin expressed his confidence that the activities of Maduro as the head of the state will continue to contribute to the development of strategic partnership relations existing between the countries."

"In addition, the head of the Russian state confirmed readiness for the continuation of joint work of Russia and Venezuela on the bilateral and international agenda."

"The President of Russia wished Maduro good health and success in solving the social and economic problems facing the country, as well as in promoting the national dialogue in the interests of the entire Venezuelan people."
