 MONTEFALCO, Italy – Team Sunweb’s rider Tom Dumoulin won the 10th stage of the Giro d’Italia on Tuesday after completing the 39.8 kilometer time trial from Foligno to Montefalco. Dumoulin came in 2.23 minutes ahead of Movistar’s Colombian Nairo Quintana, which increases pressure on the latter in the mountainous stage. The Dutchman performed superbly at the 10th stage, coming 49 seconds ahead of runner-up Team Sky’s Geraint Thomas, and 56 seconds before third-placed Bob Jungels of Team Quick-Step. |
