NEW YORK – US President Donald Trump will again be a grandfather next September, after the announcement Monday that the wife of his son Eric is expecting.
“@LaraLeaTrump & I are excited to announce that we are adding a boy to #TeamTrump in September. It’s been an amazing year. We are blessed!” Eric Trump said on Twitter.
The US president’s daughter-in-law is in the second trimester of her first pregnancy, which was known for the first time last Jan. 6, according to People magazine.
“Eric’s going to be an amazing dad. The nieces and nephews love hanging with him. He’s the cool uncle. He’s watched ‘Frozen’ many times,” Lara Trump told the magazine.
The New York magnate was quickly back on his Twitter account to say: “Congratulations Eric & Lara. Very proud and happy for the two of you!”
“You’ll be incredible parents & we cant wait to meet our nephew!” said Ivanka Trump in another tweet on the same social network.
With the birth of Eric Trump’s first child, for whom no name has yet been picked, the current resident of the White House will have nine grandchildren.
The president’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., has five children with his wife Vanessa Haydon, while Ivanka Trump has three with her husband Jared Kushner.
