Las Palmas Head Coach to Leave Club at Seasonís End

LAS PALMAS, Spain Ė Quique Setien, head coach of La Liga side Las Palmas, announced on Saturday he would not renew his contract that is set to expire at seasonís end.

Setien said he made his decision due to differences that he termed insurmountable.

The manager thanked Las Palmas for the opportunity to coach for the first time in Spainís first division and urged his players to make the fans prouder than ever over the seasonís final stretch.

With 10 games remaining on its schedule, Las Palmas is in 11th place in La Liga with 35 points.
