Argentina’s President Meets with Abu Dhabi Investment Executive

BUENOS AIRES – Argentine President Mauricio Macri met on Tuesday with Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Fund, officials said.

Macri, Finance Minister Luis Caputo and International Economic Relations Secretary Horacio Reyser met with Hamed bin Zayed at the Casa Rosada presidential palace, the Office of the President said.

On Monday, Argentine Foreign Minister Susana Malcorra co-chaired a meeting of bilateral work teams with Hamed bin Zayed, a relative of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the current president of the United Arab Emirates.

The meeting of work teams is scheduled to end on Tuesday.

Malcorra, according to a statement released by her office, emphasized the “broad opportunities” that exist to expand bilateral trade and investment.
