Sampaoli Hopes to Make Comeback against Real Madrid

SEVILLE, Spain – Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli said on Wednesday that his team will be trying to make a comeback against Real Madrid on Thursday in the second leg of the Copa del Rey’s last 16, after losing 3-0 in the first leg.

Sampaoli said in a press conference that although his team is behind, he hopes that Sevilla will have a chance against the rivals.

He also said he is trying to be sensible and his team has the enthusiasm to play a good game on Thursday.

He also noted the importance of the next two games, both against Real Madrid on Thursday in the Copa del Rey, and on Sunday in La Liga, and hopes to decrease the points’ difference with La Liga’s leader.
