James Rodriguez to Miss Sevilla Copa del Rey Game

MADRID Ė Real Madrid forward James Rodriguez will miss the away second leg game against Sevilla in Copa del Rey on Thursday due to a minor injury.

The Colombian did not take part in the last group training in Madrid and worked inside the facilities, so will not be able to catch up with the round of 16 second leg after Los Merengues won the home first leg 3-0.

French coach Zinedine Zidane confirmed Jamesís absence in a presser on Wednesday, saying that the player is in pain and he will not risk the Colombian efforts by including him in the squad.

The coach added that he does not believe Jamesís injury is serious but that medical staff will follow up his condition.
