Ancelotti: I See Myself with Casillas Next Season

MADRID – Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti sees himself staying, along with goalkeeper Iker Casillas, with Real in the next season, according to his remarks in a press conference on Friday.

“Next season, I see myself here with Casillas and all of the players who are doing well with Real Madrid,” the Italian coach said ahead of the Malaga clash in the 32nd round of La Liga on Saturday, but he felt that “at the moment it is not important to answer these questions because we are focusing on the end of La Liga.”

Ancelotti denied rumors that Real is seeking to sign a goalkeeper to replace Casillas, and refused to comment as to whether or not Casillas is the best goalie worldwide.

“I am lucky to have three great goalkeepers, who are professional and serious. That is the only thing that we have to assess,” Ancelotti explained, adding: “I have the three best goalkeepers in the world and we have never talked about signing a goalkeeper next season.”
