MADRID – Dominican singer Juan Luis Guerra will return to Spain next July to promote his new album “Todo Tiene Su Hora” (Everything Has Its Time), after nearly 25 years since his first visit to Spain. “When I arrived here in 1989, the Spaniards did not know how to dance merengue. I remember that I’ve been asked on television to teach them. Now there are teachers who could give lessons to Dominicans,” Guerra said on Tuesday. The Latin singer also announced that he will hold concerts in Spain this summer, on July 17 in Madrid and July 19 in Barcelona. Another concert is pending confirmation, which would be held in Murcia on July 30, according to the official website of a popular shopping mall in the Spanish city. “Todo Tiene Su Hora” is the 12th in Guerra’s career, which took off in 1984. |
