The outstanding Swarovsky crystals recently launched a fashion show with their latest collection entitled “Desires of Ice.” in the elegant spaces of the Paseo Las Mercedes shopping Mall.
The Swarovsky representatives offered welcome words to all their guests and also introduced their new General Manager. Daniel Swarovski, a young man from Bohemia, invented, then patented a machine that cut crystal stones with precision and consistency long time ago. Together with his family, Daniel Swarovski moved to the tiny village of Wattens in the Austrian Tyrol, where his invention was powered by water. So began a lifetime’s journey towards the realization of his shining crystal vision in 1895: The history of Swarovsky crystal; a family company is born. The fashion and jewellery industries are being revolutionized by the quality and quantity of SWAROVSKI’s perfectly cut crystal stones. The small mechanical glass-cutting works in the Tyrol blossoms and thrives throughout the decades, rapidly turning into an international concern, continually improving, expanding, offering a wider array of crystal attractions. The guests enjoyed this unique collection which was definitely a perfect combination of simplicity and elegance. By Virginia Casulo Daily Journal Staff Photos by Nélida Mosquera |
