Six Bodies Found Inside Building in Western Mexico

MEXICO CITY Ė Six bodies were found inside a building on the limits of the cities of Tonala and San Pedro Tlaquepaque in the western Mexican state of Jalisco, officials said.

A call was placed to authorities on Friday night about a foul odor coming from a building near the road to Cerro del Gato, the Jalisco Attorney Generalís Office said in a statement.

Police officers from San Pedro Tlaquepaque checked out the building and said human remains were inside.

Investigators removed the unidentified bodies from the building on Saturday and returned a day later to ensure no other human remains were inside, the AGís office said.

The six bodies were taken to the coronerís office, where genetic and other tests will be conducted to try to identify the corpses and determine the cause of death.
