Enrique Iglesias Sells Home in Miami for $6.7 Million

MIAMI – Spanish pop star Enrique Iglesias sold for $6.7 million his mansion with dock at Bay Point, Miami, a place he bought as a vacant lot in 1998 for $640,000, according to the celeb site GossipExtra.

The property measuring 6,300 sq. feet has a dock 100 feet long, five bedrooms and five baths on two floors.

The popular singer, 38, had the house built a year after buying the land, the South Florida Web site said.

“This is a home defined by privacy and exclusivity, conveniently situated near South Beach and downtown Miami,” said Esther Percal, the real estate agent in charge of the sale.

GossipExtra said it doesn’t know who is buying the Iglesia place, nor will it know until the transaction is registered with Miami-Dade County.

Iglesias may be leaving the house but not the neighborhood – he’ll be settling down in another place in Bay Point.
